If You Don’t Have Time, Don’t Date

There’s been many a time that I’ve met a woman on a dating site, or dating app and she’s full in.
We exchange numbers.
I do the modern day version of calling – I’ll send them a text and go, “Hey! Are you free now? I want to say hi.”
But, then there’s no response. Sometimes it takes a week just to get a call.
It’s really ridiculous. I don’t know about you, how you feel, what you think about it, but I’m going to tell you what I think.
If you don’t have time to get on the phone and have a 10-minute conversation with somebody – to see if there’s chemistry, to see if there’s any connection between the two of you, to see if you even want to go on a date with the person – then I strongly suggest that you don’t get on the dating sites in the first place.
If you don’t have time to at least have a few phone calls a week to see if there’s chemistry with the person that you’ve contacted, then get off the sites.
It’s a complete waste of time. Your time and their time. They could be spending the time talking to somebody who makes the time to actually connect.
You Don’t Have Time for a Phone Call?
It’s really quite amusing nowadays, and this happens on a regular basis.
If you don’t have the time, don’t get on the sites. If you’re negative about a site, or you think it’s not going to work, or you’ve had bad experiences before, you were gunshot, get off the site.
Don’t give out your number to anybody unless you plan on having a phone conversation.
I know you’re thinking how many times men will get your phone number and never call you. Well, this advice works both ways. If you’re going to get a number, call somebody up and don’t leave them hanging.
Because you never know when love is going to answer the phone.
As a matter of fact, you have no idea when love is going to answer the phone.
These people you dismiss – people that spark an interest in the beginning – could be someone you make a real connection with, and you can’t even follow through with a phone call. You could be making a serious mistake because that person could be the next spectacular person in your life, the person who you really are meant to connect with, the person who’s going to end the torture of being on these dating apps and dating sites.
If you don’t take the time, you’re certainly never going to know or find out if this person is that person.
A 10-minute phone conversation is all it takes, because really you’ll know whether or not there’s chemistry, a connection.
Are You Too Busy to Date?
Let’s stop the madness. If you’re too busy for a conversation, then stop giving out your number. Stop not responding to texts. If you’re that busy, you shouldn’t be dating. If you’re that scared to connect or that fearful or have stories that are preventing you from moving forward, don’t date. Clear your soul. Clear your energy. Clear your conscious. This is not that hard to do.
The next time you give out your number and you don’t answer his texts or you take weeks to finally say hi, you need to realize that that man on the other end of the phone could have been the one for you. Except he got annoyed and moved on to somebody else who actually took his phone call, who actually made an effort to just have a simple conversation.
What is wrong with us as a culture now?
It is getting out of control, folks. It really is. It’s time we each started doing something a little different. Remember the person who you said you would talk to who has been trying to get a phone conversation in? That person has got feelings. That person is trying to connect with you. Figure it out or have the conversation.
