Oh, I bet that got your attention!
How many of you enjoy casual sex?
Now don’t get me wrong, I love sex. In fact, it’s probably one of my favorite things to do. But casual sex is keeping you single, and here’s why. Let’s say you meet a guy. He’s nice but he’s not for you. The thing is you’re attracted to him, and it’s been a while since you’ve been physical with someone. You figure you may as well take advantage of the attraction, so you just jump into the sack.
The sex is really good. The orgasms are toe curling. The oxytocin is flooding your system, and you start to enjoy sleeping with this man. You think to yourself, “I’m going to keep this up as long as I can.”
Before long, the casual sex starts turning into something else in your mind. It becomes addicting, intoxicating, and it’s driving you nuts. You can’t get enough of it. You start seeing the guy in a different light. You start to wonder if you can make him your boyfriend. That’s when it all goes south. That’s when you’ve let the oxytocin take control. You think men are the only ones that think with their penis, well women are just as guilty of thinking with their little penis, the clitoris.
When you start thinking with your little penis, you start creating a story based on someone who was only ever casually involved with you. That’s where the problem comes in. When you’re engaged in casual sex, your energy is closed off to meeting new people. It’s hard to become de-compartmentalized, and it’s hard to break it down.
You’re out there trying to date, but you still have mild feelings for the guy you’re sleeping with. Not just that, but once you get into the casual sex mindset, it’s easy to jump from one lover to the next, never really dating anyone. Casual sex is great if that’s all you want at this present moment, but if you want a loving relationship, I strongly suggest you cut the casual sex off.
Sure you might get frustrated, but that’s what vibrators and other electronic devices are for, to relieve the congestion down there. If you’re serious about connecting with a man, if you’re serious about getting married, then you need to eliminate casual sex from your life.
The moment you start having sex with someone, everything gets cloudy. A sexual relationship quickly becomes something else in your mind, and it’s rare for casual relationships to develop into something long term. Men seem to be far better at understanding the boundaries in casual relationships. Men can have casual sex relationships without getting caught up in the “what if” fantasy.
Women seem to tune right into the fairytale romance the moment oxytocin is released. In fact, men love that kind of set up if they’re not looking for something serious. That’s another reason you need to be careful because you’ll only attract players and men who aren’t interested in commitment. They’ll happily screw your brains out knowing there’s no chance of them ever dating you.
So if you’re serious about having a relationship, and truly want to fall in love and have a lasting, spiritual, and soulful connection with a man, I suggest that as of now, you don’t get yourself involved in anything casual. I know it’s hard to resist temptation, but in the end, it’s the best thing for you to do. Do you really want just to be an object for a long line of men who want to enjoy your body but not your heart?
