Nowadays, dating is more competitive than it’s ever been — download this free report to learn 6 proven skills to stand apart & succeed in the modern dating world.
Let’s have a fun conversation today. What is your favorite romantic comedy?
What is the most romantic movie you’ve ever seen? What do you think is the best movie for a first date ever?
I was on a plane the other week coming back from New York City to LAX, and I watched a couple of great movies. I saw “Whiplash.” What a fantastic movie that is. The kid in it Miles Teller is some actor. Everything he does is always so real and raw. There’s a cute scene in the movies where he breaks up with his girlfriend because he doesn’t want to lose track of his drumming career. It was really interesting because it’s what a lot of men do in dating situations.
They’ll use their career as an excuse to not be with a woman, when in reality they just don’t want to be with her. They’ll spin a story about being busy with work, instead of telling her the truth.
How about, “When Harry Met Sally?”
What a great movie that was.
“Sleepless in Seattle.”
There are some amazing date movies out here. Who can forget about “The Notebook?”
That made everyone’s heart melt. Or maybe you went to see “Marley and Me” with a man and watched them cry for the very first time.
Let’s get a list together of some of the best date movies ever down below. Not only do I want you to tell me the movies you love, but I want to know WHY you love the movie. What was it about it that inspired you or made you think?
One of my favorite date night movies ever has to be “The Shawshank Redemption”
It’s such a beautiful movie. I also love “Ghost.”
The funny thing about that movie is I went with about 11 of my guy friends in New York City, and we all realized within 10 minutes that we needed to have the buffer zone.
Do you know what the buffer zone is?
It’s when you go to a romantic movie with a bunch of men, and you don’t sit next to each other but in every other seat. It’s called ‘the buffer zone’.
There are so many great first date movies.
What’s your favorite movie so far this year? What’s your favorite cuddle on the sofa movie? If you had to watch one emotional movie to make you feel all warm and juicy what would it be? I’d love to know today!
