I’ve been sitting in the car driving. My friend John and I are talking about our life, and the women that we’ve been with. He’s talking about a woman he was with in his 20’s. He ended up breaking her heart and moving away. He said something that was really powerful.

He said, “She made me feel like I was her hero.”

That just sends chills up my spine.  It made me realize that is what we want.  We want to be your hero. We want to feel like we can do no wrong. And when we do wrong, you still treat us like a hero with that hero respect and admiration.

A hero wants to rescue the damsel in distress.  We want to take care, we want to protect, we want to honor, and your job is to make us feel like a hero.  I just thought about it right now, and it makes me feel so alive. It’s so simple.  We want to fall in love, or let’s put it this way, we fall in love with a woman who makes us feel like a hero.  We stay with the woman who makes us feel like a hero.  We marry the woman who makes us feel like a hero.

We just want to be your hero.  Want to wear the cape, and to feel special. That’s amazing.

It’s What Men Really Desire

As I think about it back in my life, the women who made me feel like a hero are the woman I really wanted to be around. And the ones that I felt like I was under a microscope are the ones I ended up retreating from. It’s amazing when you break it down, how simple it is for men and women to connect on a deep level.

You want to feel like a princess and a queen, and we want to feel like a hero and a king.  It’s a beautiful way to think about it. The next man you’re with, keep that in mind.  All he wants to do is be your hero. And if you’re kinky, you can do a little role playing.  Maybe he should wear a little hero cape coming into the bedroom and have some fun. Anyway, he just wants to be your hero.  Remember that.
