I want you to do a little bit of an experiment today.
I want you to walk around and think about Honda Accords.
You know the Honda Accord? Four door sedan, basic car from Japan.
Can drive them forever, can’t kill them, and they’ve always been in the top five cars sold every single year.
What I want you to do is think about Honda Accords. All day long, I want you to bring the car to your consciousness.
I want you to think about Honda Accords. I want you to dream about Honda Accords. I want you to look, and find, and see how many appear in your life.
You’re going to be pretty amazed. Everywhere you go, a Honda Accord will appear.
You probably haven’t even noticed Honda Accords up until today. But what I’m about to tell you is going to change your life.
When you devote your mind to anything, it will appear.
Making Your Thoughts a Reality
If you think that your life is terrible, if you think people aren’t attracted to you, if you think you’re ugly and unattractive, or if you think you can’t meet anybody, what’s going to appear is a whole bunch of people who don’t want to meet you.
People who don’t want to be around you, and people who aren’t connected or attracted to you.
You see, the more you think about a lack of happiness, the more you notice it and the more you bring it about. I’m going to share a story with you about somebody named Bill.
Bill just did not feel like he was attractive at all.
Bill felt where he lived, in Akron, Ohio, was just full of married people and no one else.
Bill felt like he was the only person over the age of 35 who was single in his town.
Every day, Bill would look around and see married people. All day long, he would see married people wherever he went. Women, men, families.
Bill also felt unattractive so everywhere he went, nobody ever saw him. Nobody ever acknowledged him. And nobody ever looked at him.
Changing What You Focus On
I went to Akron, Ohio one day.
I met Bill.
I was passing through and I decided to go and spend a few hours with Bill in his town.
I went with the consciousness that Akron’s a damn good place to meet women.
Though there may be a lot of married people in Akron, it has a ton of divorced women who want to meet a great man.
Age didn’t really make a difference; there are women of all ages, all shapes, all sizes that want to meet great guys in Akron, Ohio.
I showed up in Akron and for the next three hours, I met more women than I probably meet in New York and Los Angeles on a given day.
I met great, single, available women. And I met lots of single mothers. As a matter of a fact, I didn’t even notice the married people. All I saw were hot, single women wanting to meet me.
The point is when you think about something negative too much, you’re going to hurt yourself that way. When you think about it, you actually make it real, and when you think about something, you’re actually going to always find it.
But, when you allow your brain, and you train your mind, to see what is available instead of what is unavailable, you’re going to change your belief system and change your outcome.
The Honda Accord Experiment
Think about the Honda Accord today and see how many of them you see in your life. Then, try a different mantra the very next day. Try thinking about what you want instead of what you don’t want. Watch how your life changes.
And if you don’t do this, if you think it’s hokey and ridiculous, I really couldn’t care less. You can continue to have the same outcome you have always had. The fact is, the people who change their lives actually tried something new out, they actually trusted the advice they were given and they took steps to do something different.
