Do I have your attention? Good.
Here’s the reason why you should stop dating.
It’s just not working out for you at all.
You don’t really have the mental capacity to deal with people not choosing you.
You don’t really have the time to do it.
You give up so quickly.
You don’t want to work on your skills of connecting with people.
You create a victim story where you feel like it’s never going to work so you might as well continue to create the self-fulfilling prophesy that you’re living into every single day.
Oh, I could just go on and on and on.
Aren’t you looking for me to literally give you permission to basically give up on dating permanently? Some of you, I feel like are.
So I’ll add in some other beauties.
There’s no good men where you live.
There’s no emotionally available men.
There’s no man who’s stimulating enough for you.
There’s no man who you’re attracted to.
Why don’t you just give up?
Why don’t you just give the same shitty attitude that you have around dating and meeting somebody to love as you do in your work life?
Why don’t you treat your career the same way? Because if you did, you’d be broke, financially broke, because right now you’re emotionally broke and you’re not willing to grow up and realize that you’re looking for love.
Love is not something that’s handed out on a street corner.
Love is not something that’s handed out on phones, even though we think it is because we think we can swipe for love.
Love is not something that just comes because all of the sudden you order a program.
You listen to it once.
And then you think that you’ll be able to go and meet people and find love instantly.
It just doesn’t really work that way at all.
As a matter of fact, if love was so easy to find, everybody would find it.
When you’re driving down the car, you should just look and knock on the window of somebody’s else’s car and say, excuse me, are you driving for love? Because I am right now and I certainly don’t want to do any work on myself to go find it.
You see, I have love in my life.
I have the most beautiful, amazing girlfriend in the world.
I love her more than anybody.
Why am I able to say that and how did I find such an amazing relationship?
Because I put the fucking time in!
And I didn’t quit.
Because I went out on lots of first dates that weren’t so great.
I had lots of mini-relationships that did not work out.
And I had lots of long-term relationships that did not work out.
The list goes on and on. Did I quit?
Never.
That’s right. Never.
Did I take a break from dating at times just to work on myself? Absolutely.
But I never quit dating, and you want to know why?
The answer is pretty simple.
I never quit because I knew that, for everything in life that you truly want and desire, you’ve got to put in the time and energy in.
I never took it personally if someone did not want to be with me.
I never stated any of the above things that I did at the beginning of this article and used them as excuses.
Why?
Because I truly believed that I would find amazing love.
Did it cost me a lot of money? Absolutely
Did it cost me a lot of time? Absolutely.
But was it worth it in the end? Oh, God, yeah.
I get to wake up every single morning knowing that I have found the most amazing person that I’ve ever found in my entire life and it was worth every bit of the journey.
So you can either quit, give up on dating, and just be this complete failure in life, because that’s really what it is.
And you can really go into the story that you think the story is, or you can create a whole new story and you can just continue moving on, gaining the skills, getting the coaching and the advice that you need and really creating a whole new story of possibility for you.
The choice is yours.
