Today I am with a great group of guys who came in this weekend for my LA bootcamp.

And do you know what always happens the first night of bootcamp?

Right away I have to deprogram a few of the guys.

I basically take their crutches away and get them to walk on there own without the use of pick up lines!

You all know how I feel about pickup lines so last night I was all about deprogramming some guys minds.

Dr David.. thats what a guy at work calls u...lol and im beginning to realise why. In homeware store today and a opening presented itself but i thought alittle to much about it and missed the moment...main thing im realising is im starting to see these oppurunties... defo a place l'll check out again. What im beginning to understand is, its in places like homeware stores etc... you automicially have a subject to talk about... and as you say again and again... info is power... you can go anywere with infomation :)The idea that i can meet gorgeous girls on my lunch break is just a refreshing thought. The main plus over bars and club is ure meeting the real person :) Thank you yet again Dr David

Pick-up lines, yeah right! I always laugh when I hear about "pick up," it's so juvenile. Seriously, pick up lines are for those who aren't true to themselves or concerned about coming across as a genuine person to others. Not to mention, they don't work for shit and women can see right past them. Women are people, not items that you can just "pick-up" at a convenience store. Dave you are absolutely correct, observation is key. It actually makes it easier to start a conversation with anyone, because you're embracing what's going on in the moment and speaking your mind. It's important to stay present when conversing, not to mention evoking positive emotions in your interlocutor. Great tools for making a memorable first impression!

OK pick up lines are bad! What about talking advanced Science or asking gals question in that area? I mean what about exciting passionate advanced science and science history.

ooh ooh SCIENCE heehee i happen to be sort of a geek ;) seems to me that asking a science question would be much better than using a pickup line. it's different, it weeds out the girls not interested in science, and it holds the potential for a deep conversation. i'm assuming, joe, that you're intelligent, else you wouldnt think science was exciting...you are going to want a girl who is also intelligent and likes science as well as you do. so asking such questions is a great idea :)
