You ever been to the doctor and he (or she) announces you have parasites?
Parasites are little bugs that live inside your stomach and eat all of the disgusting stuff. They live off the fruits and vegetables and meats that you put into your body.
Everybody has them. There are times in life you’ve got to do a parasite cleanse.
One of my friends is a herbologist, and there’s a great parasite cleanse he suggests that people use once or twice a year to get rid of any unhealthy parasites in your gut.
Your gut is really the center of your body.
Some call your stomach the brain of your body, while the brain is the brain of your emotions.
A lot of us don’t know there is another type of parasite. The parasites in life.
It’s the people who suck off your energy. The people who are no longer worth the time you give them.
Some of us have toxic friends. Some of us have relationships with exes that are toxic. Some of us have financial arrangements with people, helping out brothers, mothers, exes that become toxic.
It’s time to take a look at the parasites in your life and start eliminating them.
You’re feeling this parasitic feeling in your body, in your mind, in your day. Toxic relationships are really unhealthy. They’re unhealthy for our soul. You’ve got to look at all relationships as a give and take.
All relationships need to be team based. It’s about the “we.”
One person is not feeling great, the other person needs to pick them up. One person can’t carry the load financially, the other person has to help out. One person is tired of taking care of the kid, the other person has to help out.
Whether it’s exes or partners or lovers or whoever, I believe in the power of being a team. Being a team is what life is all about.
There’s always that parasite. There’s always that person who feels entitled and starts sucking your energy dry.
A lot of friends are like that. Whenever we get off of the phone with them we feel exhausted. Even though we only talked to them for five minutes, we are emotionally exhausted.
One of my closest friends recently cleansed another friend we’ve know since we were kids.
When I asked him why? He told me he was tired of being in a one-way friendship, that even though our other friend meant him no harm, he felt no love coming back. And he made the decision not to pour his energy into a black hole anymore.
It was totally his prerogative.
Parenting is one way, or it can be. Especially when your kids are small. And that’s okay. It’s a love we are happy to give unconditionally.
But parasitic energy is not healthy energy at all.
Parasitic energy is energy that is not healthy for any of us.
So take a look at the people in your life who are sucking your energy dry. Who are not making you feel great over the course of a day, who give you no love of any kind. And all they do is take.
Start eliminating them, because life is too short.
Life is about having healthy relationships. Each relationship is give and take, not take and take. Life has not shortage of takers.
The friends to cherish are the givers. Seek them out.
Parasites will take, take and take, and they don’t give.
Parasitic energy is something we all need to avoid in our lives.
It’s time to cleanse.
