Cook Her Dinner by David Wygant
Something that is really fun, and makes a great date, is cooking for each other.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a good cook or a bad cook – I’ll tell you, I’ll go to Whole Foods and buy containers of food, and worst-case scenario, I’ll put the food in a pot, and stir it around a little bit, and the house will smell like I made it!
Just be sure to throw the containers out way before she comes and you’re fine! There are a lot of things of Whole Foods that I go get – besides flirting at Whole Foods, there are other things to do – like eat!
You could pretend that you’re a sushi chef, and buy a box of sushi from Whole Foods, put the roll back together again, and make it look like you cut it up for her! There are a lot of things you can do.
I remember this one time I told this woman I was going to cook her dinner, and I went to Whole Foods – I think it was maybe our third date. I’m sure you’re thinking right now, oh, stereotypical third date, trying to sleep with her – but actually I slept with her on the first date!
So this was a third date, and I wanted to make her dinner because the first date was sex, the second date was sex, and I thought it would be fun to have dinner and just get to know each other a little bit more. We had some really good chemistry, but I wanted to have some fun with dinner.
So I went to Whole Foods, and bought some Chicken Chili Verde, and cooked her a Mexican meal! The Chicken Chili Verde is actually really good there, so I just got some brown rice, and the Chicken Chili Verde, and I actually cut the tomatoes up myself and added some guacamole. We talked, and she had some wine, and the music was great, the candles were lit – and cooking for each other made it a hot night.
But you don’t have to know how to cook – you can fake it! I was stirring the Chili Verde in the pot, and having a good time, and she kept coming over and I fed her with the spoon – she kept saying, “god, you make this so good!” And I put on the show – I added a pinch of rock salt, and threw some pepper in there and a little bit of chili powder. You won’t ruin it just by adding a little bit – and it’s the effect.
So don’t be afraid of it. If you know how to cook – cook a meal! Try to cook a meal, learn to cook a meal. I’m just lazy – I don’t really want to cook a meal.
But I do make a mean salad – I love shredding some chicken, putting it in a salad, chopping up the vegetables – that’s a lot of fun. You can shred the chicken using your hands, you can feed each other with your hands, and you can chop the vegetables together. You can wash the vegetables together, and both of your hands can be underneath the water, touching. There’s that little touch you’ll have throughout the entire dinnertime.
And always have strawberries. Strawberries are great for later on. They are an amazing thirst-quencher – you know, when you get that incredible dry mouth from having sex? Or you’re even just fooling around, and you get excited, and your mouth gets dry and you need a little bit of moisture – feed each other strawberries. It’s hot, they taste great, and it’s fun.
All berries are good: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries are all good. Mangoes are great. Mangoes are a lot of fun. Cut up the mango and feed each other mangoes.
Have fun with food. It’s a great date!
