This is a great speech from Mike Westhoff who is the Jets special teams coach.
Forget any football analogy, what Mike shares works in all areas of your life especially if you are single and searching for dates and connections. mike westoff Watch this and think how it applies to your everyday life.
Take a hard honest look at yourself today.
And I know all of you are on pins and needles awaiting my predictions.
1.7 million men & women come to me every month to find the secrets to success. And after 20 years of coaching, I’ve discovered the golden keys to success in dating, business, health and wellness, and life.
I’ve helped millions of men and women around the globe achieve success in their dating, social and personal lives. I’m also a father to the world’s cutest little girl, and I am an unapologetic man. Some say I’m nuts, others say I’ve changed their life forever. One thing’s for certain: I’ll always give you the truth, whether you can handle it or not. I never sugar coat anything.
Nice is so overrated. I’d prefer brutally honest breakthrough to a “nice” rut any damn day of the week. If you’re the same way, then you've come to the right place.
I went out last night and could not get the attention of the guy i wanted.
Was so bummed out all night and woke up this morning in a bad mood.
Checked out the blog and though....oh no David and his football Sunday rhetoric.
Being a woman i have zero interest in football only the outfits and how Tom Brady wears his pants:)
I was not going to click on the video and decided why not.
What a great way to describe my dating life.
Thanks for the wakeup call and good luck to this Mike guy today.
Every now and then I get that when I work out. As soon as I don't see change,I get discouraged, and I start skipping going to the gym. Before I know it, my whole work-out agenda is screwed and I have to start all over.
Great post.
My martial arts teacher told us one day:
"Discouragement is your biggest enemy. Before you know it, you give up and from there, it's a downward spiral. It takes discipline to stay on track, even though you are not seeing the results you want yet. Discpline beats discouragement any day, any time."
Incredible! One time someone told me your worst enemy is yoursefl! which is right every time, I failed i beat myself up so badly that I didnt realize I was trying something different.Know I embrace everything from dating to work related stuff.
Rodgers is kicking ass!
What an impacting 1.11 minute video. Imagine if we all went ourselves and listened to the whole message!!!
Discouragement, doubt and fear - these are all in our minds. If you put good stuff into your mind: mass sermons; inspirational speakers especially people like Jim Rohn or Zig Ziglar, you will get the wake up calls many times daily.
I have just reread Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life book and she suggests saying 'I love and approve of myself' 300 - 400 times per day, as just one way to allow the miracles in. KP, why not try that? It sounds silly but it does work!
Carlos I think you hit the nail on the head when you said your worst enemy is yourself. Joyce Meyer calls this 'Battlefield of the Mind' and it is so true.
Change your thinking, change your life!
