I’m not sure how many of you know this, but one of my passions in life is health and nutrition. In fact, it runs equal with my passion for helping you improve your dating life. When I was younger, I was so skinny. I felt as if I was going to vanish. My Mom called me a long drink of water.
A long drink of water is about the worst nickname for a boy growing into a teenager. Whenever I hear people call me skinny, even now, it triggers negative emotions in my brain. I need to defend myself, literally wanting to take my shirt off and say, “Skinny? What are you talking about? I’m not skinny. I’ve been working out since I was 19. I’m ripped. I’m cut.”
It’s 100% one of my trigger points.
We all have trigger points, and for many of us it’s how we feel about our body. It can be the way you see yourself in the mirror, or something people say to you that triggers you.
Most people don’t understand that overcoming body issues can start with the perfect diet. There are many fad diets out there, miracle cures, miracle nutrition plans and supplements, that set you up to fail. People self-prescribe these diets without understanding what’s really is going on inside their own body.
The other week I had a chance to sit down with a really wonderful woman. She’s beautiful (just like you’re beautiful), she’s sexy, and she’s amazing. She had huge body issues herself. In fact, I am going to be very forthright and very open about her body issues with all of you in today’s video. I know a lot of you are going to relate to her. You’re going to feel her pain, and feel your own pain at the same time.
She can help you figure out the perfect diet for you, but more importantly her approach to nutrition is amazing. You’ll love her mindset. I want all of you to share this video with everyone you know who has body image issues. It’s important we share, and help each other out.
