Women ask me all the time, “David how can I meet a man? What do I have to do to attract the perfect man for me?”

Some women get so hung up on what they SHOULD be doing to meet a man, they don’t realize it’s what they SHOULDN’T do which is often more important. In fact, there are certain things you may do every single day which are gauranteed to push men away. In the video below, I run through 3 very quick mistakes I see women making all the time when they’re out and about.

Hi David, I do that every day.I go into WaWa for instance every morning before i go to work. You be surprised how many guys I smile at, and how often I get ignored. Is it because i wear scrubs? I always smell nice , they stand close while I make my coffee ( I drink black coffee, is that too intimidating? : )) I smile as I reach for a lid, and the guy looks away. I tried. But it is not easy.Sometimes a guy will hold the door for me, I smile and say thank you, that was sweet. They say your welcome, yet still in my scrubs and smelling nice leaving wa wa with my black coffee and protein bar smiling that someone actually responded, actually initiated interaction. I am the type to smile and say hello to everyone I meet, you would be surprised how many times men are the avoiders, and how infrequently they stir up conversation. Yet I still say hello to everyone. Men are anti-social in my experience. I will smile and the lack of response is alarming, like I am invisible. Is it the scrubs? Isn't that a bit shallow on their part.? Meet us half way, they may be surprised.

Hi David Good advice but I have tried doing all those things. Like the poster above, it is the GUYS who are anti-social and have no game. I smile, they sometimes don't even smile back. Some of them just look bewildered as if they cannot understand why I am smiling for no reason. I am open and friendly and they are merely polite. I make good eye contact but they start looking at the floor or look awkward/nervous!! I have noticed some guys stare but they only stare never come over or smile even if I encourage them. I am not a stunning beauty or any kind of beauty but I am young, dress well and look fairly nice. I am very small (5'), slim and people describe me as "innocent looking" , long hair, with a soft/sweet voice so I would describe myself feminine, physically, at least. I am in no way intimidating-especially when I have to ask men to give me something from the top shelf at the grocery store or when they open a large door for me. Yet, when I try to make conversation-such as asking for directions or some such thing, the guys are willing to help but after explaining directions they do not try to further the conversation let alone ask me out. In fact, most guys, unless they are very social or PUA or natural players have a lot of trouble talking-that is mostly a woman's forte. Despite being an introvert, I have learnt to make conversation-nothing serious, interview-like stuff but light hearted stuff. If the situation permits, I banter, tease, make playful jokes. Sometimes, I get a positive response because guys tend to enjoy that but seriously, some guys don't even get jokes. They can't even go along with my teasing and blush or try to answer seriously and it kills the chemistry. Even those who are playful see me as a someone to joke with-they never take things further. If I flirt, they think I am a flirt to with flirted with not to be asked out. If I gently stoke their egos-they simply get even more into themselves, agreeing with me and showing off even more. Then they proceed to give me unsolicited advice that would insult the intelligence of even a 3 year old. I am beginning to feel it is borderline dangerous to let guys feel even a little macho because it has only negative consequences for me. I bet after getting an ego boost from me they get the confidence to ask someone else out. The ones who have their act together are players!!! I see them do that to every girl and I am not interested in that sort of stuff. Even when I know the guys socially, all they ever do is ask me to "hang out" with 10 other people and then try to talk to me alone. Why not ask me out on a proper date? Nope, not in their dictionary. Or they tell their friends who then come and ask me if like the guy and if I do then why don't I ask him out? How lame is that? Oh, or they ask weird questions like -what kind of guys do you like?, are you dating? blah blah and then nothing happens. Just curious are they? Not curious enough. I am sorry David, but I am going back to listening to my iPod and looking at the floor. Maybe I will cross my arms too because then the players will stay away. I am happy being single and maybe no knight in shining armor will come who will smile at me and ask me out and I suppose that is fine. But for an introvert like me all this smiling, talking etc. is not natural and quite exhausting--with NO results. I love to day dream and get lost in my own world and I will do just that.
