OMG (LOL) You morons. The girls "pulled you back in" to make a damn sale, because you guys rolled in and out without buying anything, and gibbered about the levels of whatever.... They had absolutely zero interest in you sexually, romantically, or as men. Good god, learn the difference between advertising and flirting!

I watched the vid expecting to agree with you Bob but not really. Employees almost never call people back like that. I doubt they work on commission anyway-they were sitting behind a counter not standing around waiting to engage customers and also the fact its like a freakin candle store. You could see green eyes girl talking to the guy about whatever all engaged with her hands and whatnot. Does not seem like she was determined to sell something. Maybe the girls weren't interested in them sexually or as men but also doesn't mean they are just dying to sell you something. Women are just chatty as fuck.

I've had plenty of women stop me before I leave a store, in order to convince me to buy something. One of the women could be the store owner. It looks like a small business. Anyway, I would be more impressed by this video if the girls they were talking to were customers, instead of employees. This video, to me, is no different than going to Hooter's, and being excited because the waitress is talking to you. It's their JOB. It would've also been a better video if one of the guys had actually gotten a phone number, or a date with one of the girls. I don't see any of the girls touching the guys, asking them personal, "getting to know you" questions, asking the guys if they are single, or ANYTHING ELSE that women do when they are attracted to a guy. I don't see any evidence of attraction here, at least not in this video. Still with Bob on this one.

Bob, I had a comment very similar to yours typed out last night, but decided not to post it, because I knew I would only come under attack. But, you're right. They are talking to them because they WORK THERE and they are CUSTOMERS. They called them back in because they wanted them to BUY SOMETHING. I have talked to thousands of women, working in thousands of shops. I never thought one of them was talking to me for any reason other than because I am a customer. Dating, and meeting women is about LOOKS and only LOOKS.....PERIOD. The women in this video were only doing their jobs. They weren't attracted to their looks. There WAS no attraction. Period. What a joke.

Women only want to SELL you something because deep down, you don't think you are worthy/sexy etc. So it's understandable that you think these women had Zero interest in them, or You for that matter..women love to hook up and it's really not about looks. If it was, my ugly buddy with hardly any money wouldn't be dating this sexy , attractive woman that he is..and me being marginally more attractive, she simply isn't attracted to me..And I don't expect her to because some women you connect with, some women you don't connect with.

I agree with Bob and John here. A chubby, balding guy who does not exude the least bit of masculinity, mumbling something incomprehensible, I guess that might not be the best example of how to ignite a female. In fact, female employees are probably trained and encouraged to be super nice to their customers. It's like hunting in a zoo. The animals have been put there to be seen. That said, any place is a good place to practice, practice flirting or whatever...

WOW. Love the comments guys. It is funny how the whole point of this blog post is "HOW TO MAKE A CONVERSATION" and not " HOW TO ATTRACT GIRLS, GET THEIR NUMBER AND GET THEM TO SUCK YOUR DICK". Don't you enjoy having conversations in itself? The whole point of a conversation is to just enjoy the person your with?? To be present?? Isn't being present what David teaches? Not worry if it doesn't lead to anything? I believe if you don't need a conversation to lead to anything, you show the best part of you and that in itself will lead to wherever you want to lead it to. Good luck mate.

I thought this was a "sex, dating, and relationships" site, not a site on how to be a good customer. Do you really want to pay thousands of dollars for a bootcamp to learn how to have conversations that "go nowhere" with a sales girl? I think the video would have been better if one of the guys asked one of the girls working for a phone number, or a date, and got shot down. I would've at least gave him credit for trying. But to have a meaningless conversation about items in the store, then going outside and talking about how beautiful she was, and how "connected" they were, (and doing nothing about it) and calling that a success... That's the same thing as me going into McDonald's and asking the girl behind the counter how her day is, then going outside with my combo meal in a sack, and telling people how I just successfully improved my dating life, because the girl smiled and said "have a nice day" as she was handing me my hamburger. It's the SAME THING!

The title of the Vid is "How to Make Conversation." Like Anthony said it wasn't a post about getting a girls phone number. Yes this is a dating and relationship blog but a lot of what I read is also aimed at guys who don't know how to speak to girls at all let alone get a phone number. BAck when I was a teenager I wouldn't have known how to walk into a shop and make chit chat with a girl like in the video. I'd have been too scared in case she thought I looked a fool or was just trying it on with her. I thought this gives shy guys a good demo of what to do to start casual chats. Who knows where casual chats like this COULD lead. We can't all rely on our hunky cowboy looks and porn star moustaches there Bob ;-)

Nothing like a good old fashioned difference of opinion. In MY opinion, the problem with this video is that the fat, balding guy does not create even the least bit of chemistry. He does not say funny things, he is just plain boring, and exudes zero energy. So even if you want to learn how to make conversation, you don't learn anything from this video. What video was those guys watching? They go nuts with their negative rants when the person in the video is taking to someone in retail. This video was about making a conversation! That's it! I remember in David's old member site, where two of his friends were talking to a gal who worked at a food store. They were talking about relationships, transitioned from food to relationships. They didn't get her phone number, but she invited them to a party with her friends and no they didn't buy the food! John says, "I have talked to thousands of women, working in thousands of shops. I never thought one of them was talking to me for any reason other than because I am a customer." Thousands? Really? Sounds like you spend a lot of time in various shops but I don't think so! Did any of the girls intrigue you, that you thought about to go out on a date to get to know outside of her workplace? Did you ask any them to go out on a date with you? Did you act like a consumer? Because John, if you acted like a consumer, she is going to follow your lead and treat you like a consumer! Did you know how to write without practicing John? Did it matter what paper you wrote on while practicing to write besides your school work? Would you have taken a test in school to be graded on without learning how to write first because you were using the right paper? I was in a mall a couple of weeks ago, and went into one of the various stores. As I was going upstairs and noticed a very beautiful gal, cleaning. She looked bored. As I got to the top, I stopped looked around, she was wiping something. Five seconds later, I looked down, seeing that she was still wiping something, bent over, I asked if she was having fun. She quickly got up, I keep looking down, making faces, like where did she go and then turned towards her with a smile. She just started laughing, we had fun. I went to another store that same day, I got lost, I couldn't find the checkout...So a beautiful gal who was working there, waited...I kept looking a bit, then turned to her and asked her where the checkout was, she said, "checkout?" Yea, I said, "checkout" then she said the cashier is over there...lol She walked over there but I got lost in-between the other counters...LOL I peaked out with a smile, and she started laughing, "you can come over here" she said. We had fun talking for a bit. The guys in David video were not interested in dating the lady in the candle shop, rather they having fun making conversation. And when you have fun making conversation, you can talk to anyone, even those whom you would consider dating!

Michael sounds like a PR, marketing rep, from the Wygant, damage control division. I think the point I was trying to make, and the other naysayers about this video, is that the video is so basic, and below our current level of knowledge, that it is a waste of time, and pointless. Like telling us how to use the toilet again. The average, and below average, guy knows how to talk to sales clerks and "useless" women, who have no interest in them. This site is about learning how to get dates, phone numbers, girlfriends, and get layed. Come on, it is not about useless chatting and then high fiving and getting all excited that a "beautiful" girl talked to you, and thinking there was some some kind of "moment" and connection between you two, as this guy seems to imply. It was a simple, useless, conversation not worthy of recording or blogging about that we all do many times, every day.

Mike, you can't be serious. Over the span of 40 years? Of course I've interacted with thousands of women in shops, restaurants, malls, bars, or ANYPLACE women work.. Just take the last 20 years. 20 years x 365 days = 7300 days. Even going out to stores, shops, restaurants, etc. every third day, you would interact with a person working there 2433 times. Assume, only half of them were women. That would be 1217 women. Now consider days where you visit more than one shop.. The number of shop girls would EASILY reach into the many thousands. Plus, remember, I have a job where I travel. The number of places I have visited over just the last 20 years would be in the thousands with no problem at all. So, not an exaggeration at all! But that's beside the point. The point is, there was nothing in this video out of the ordinary. Nothing different than every other encounter that occurs in shops across the globe every minute. Plus, the guy in the end was talking about how beautiful the girl working there was, and how they really connected, therefore, I would assume that he DID want things to progress. What Bob, Hans, and myself are saying is there appears to be a confusion in Wygant video world between building, and creating ATTRACTION, and ordinary, go nowhere, chit chat. These videos are fine for a starting point, but we've seen videos like this many, many times. I would like to see a video where an interaction actually GOES SOMEWHERE. Even if it leads to rejection.. At least it went SOMEWHERE! That is what we want to see. Enough mindless, go nowhere chit-chat, and calling that "success with women". In other words.. I'm tired of seeing "conversations". Show us a PICKUP.

I think that you all need to chill out. This is just a blog. It happens to be a good one at that, where the author actually goes out and makes videos for you and puts them on here for free. John, if you want to see lots of pickups why don't you just buy Undercover Approaches instead of complaining that you're not getting it for free? My point is, be a little bit more grateful to the guy who is putting all this effort into giving you free advice. I follow the blogs of a couple other dating coaches, and they don't go to nearly as much effort as is evident in this one. Also, in your comments some of you could actually try to put forward your request to see pickups in a nicer way, instead of as a demand. There is such a sense of entitlement in some of these posts, its frustrating to read. Sincerely, Dave S

Wygant gets credit when he is due credit Dave. John and I both give equal praise, or criticism, of Wygant's blogs on their merits, in our opinion, which is what this comment section is designed for. It is not designed for cronyism, adornment or a fan club for Wygant to enjoy. Between John and I, I am sure we have spent more on Wygants products than most people make in a month. Just because you do something for "free" (actually, this is a marketing ploy to get you to become familiar, built trust, and loyalty, so you will buy his products, in case you need a lesson in business and self promotion) does not mean you get credit and praise for spending a few minutes doing it. In life you are rewarded for producing useful, and usable services and products. This particular blog is useless, and there is no defense for it, by claiming since it is free, no one should question or critique and give their negative opinions and critisisms about it. There is no "sense of entitlement," or a need to be "nice" or "grateful" to Mr wygant because he has a blog site, and gives advice to build his business, income and lifestyle. If the blog disappears, I don't think it will cause a black hole to form in the universe, or even an earth shaking event to occur. There are thousands of other blogs that can be followed and given free opinions about.

Since you, Bob like John, have seen so many videos of David Wygant and you have posted many criticisms on various videos why don't you post some videos of your own which shows us how it's done? And I'm not talking about making videos on picking up gals working in retail which you are against, rather your own conceptualization on how to pick up women! lol, John...You didn't answer my questions about the girls whom you met in the shops. I could care less about the other workplaces that you expanded upon after just mentioning "shops" because that was nothing more than creating a straw man to knock down. Didn't one of those supposed thousands that you met intrigue you? Weren't there any single ones among those thousands? lol Why do you keep coming here over and over again, if the video do not obtain a level of your satisfaction? Is it an ego trip to be critical for the sake of being critical! You are going to see recycled videos, because the viewers change over time. So John, why not make a video of your own that shows us how's it done?

Feedback about his videos is what a comments section is for. That said, I would LOVE to see a "Bob Method" pickup video.

Let's not forget that there are a lot of guys out there that really do have problems talking to strangers. It is often surprising at what (perceived) level some people are, but it is what it is. No need to shoot anybody down, because there are always areas where YOU yourself are not an expert. Personally, at least that is what I believe, I criticize people only when I feel they could do better, but just don't put an effort into it. When someone really gives it 150% all the time, there is no use in criticizing.

John, You are so full of it, it's unreal...lol You don't do videos because you don't run a business but you can sit on your computer criticizing other people's work? lol So lame, John! Have you ever worked in the retail business? Has Bob ever worked in the retail business? My first job was in the retail business back in the 80's. Let me tell you something, both of full of it when labeling people in the retail business, There were people whom I worked with who were dating people who they first met as consumers. They even had code names for those who they spotted and were interested in. Checking them out to see if they had a ring or not while doing their job was a very common thing. Your not into the date coaching business, your not into the retail business, but you are certainly into the negative business...lol Enjoy your day :)

Of course, employees can respond to your words. Girls are in the workplace, they have duties. These responsibilities include customer service, including a conversation with them. If a client tries to establish a personal relationship with an employee at work, it can cause some problems. The guy can make a girl a compliment, but this does not guarantee that she will draw attention to it. In general, these fashion jewelry and gifts stores are not the best place for dating. Guys who already have a girlfriend or wife, often go to these stores to keep an eye gift or make a purchase for het. These guys are busy and are not free and the girls behind the counter are feeling it. There would be better to go to a regular supermarket, where people come to buy food and drinks. It easy to see that girl is lonely and in need of a relationship with a guy.

Oleg, The gal who worked in the gift shop, when I worked in retail was dating a guy whom I worked with in the store. Now that can cause problems too and it eventually did and they broke up. Not because they worked at the same place, they were not compatible. The object is not looking guarantees if she will like you or not or whether or not, the relationship will be successful. A woman who likes you will give you numerous signals and if you like her, then get her number or ask her out whether she is working or not. If your going to be limitations on meeting that someone whom you might like, you will be less likely to meet someone whom you go out with. A supermarket is a good place to meet women too! Women tend to check guys out at the supermarket...lol So you pick out women who you think are lonely and need a relationship? lol That's amazing you can see that without talking to her...lol :)

due to Asperger Syndrome I have, sometimes I feel it is hopeless for me to attract and get a girlfriend, yes I know people have told me to maybe try to find a woman with Asperger's, but Asperger's occurs way more in men than it does in women, so the odds of me finding an Aspie women are stacked against me, and I've attended my share of Aspie meet-ups, but I have not been attracted to any of the women there
