Great, great job on that pickup ! David is absolutely right. I was 13 when I found out that really ugly girls ALWAYS have really pretty friends. And I mean always. That said, your chances to meet hot women go up exponentially by talking to ugly women. I kid you not.

Here's an "ugly woman's" perspective. In high school, guys would come up to me and just say, "Hey, you're ugly." I was so unpopular that other unpopular people wouldn't hang around with me. But when the new girl befriended me, they started asking me if she'd date them. I'd always hem and haw, I was so intimidated by them. Then, I'd tell my friend what jerks those guys were, effectively cock-blocking them. She was gorgeous (looked like Kathy Ireland - 80s model), and never had a date in high school partly due to my efforts. (FYI, she's still gorgeous, has a hot husband and a couple kids). So, you're right. Be kind to everyone if only not to look like an ass, if you just can't find a reason to just be a good person As a follow-up, none of those jerks would ever have a shot with me now. They peaked early, and I have only just begun. She who laughs last, last best. ;-)

Forgot to mention... There's a helleva lot of cute babes into gambling on the slot machines. Like the ratio is 5 women to 1 guy. Super easy to start a conversation. Some women even belong to slot clubs and travel together. This is how it was in the late 90's. Dunno if this scenario exists today...

I think the difference here is intent Bob. Yeah, if I'm sitting next to someone, I would most likely small talk with them. But David sat next to her with the intent on engaging her in conversation. That's what he's encouraging us to do. See who you want to talk and start a conversation with them.

Yea, She would not have been my first choice (more like my last, unless I was using her for a quick warm up, when I wasn't "feeling it" one day) for someone to intentionally start a convo. with though. Why hope an old woman, or an ugly girl, has "prospects" for you, when I am sure there were plenty of readily available targets that would be of first choice, to talk to? Look at the title of this blog! It is "How to hit on women in Las Vegas", not talk to an easy, no value (for our purposes), no risk, targets! We are supposed to see an honest "hit" on a beautiful woman, (I would presume, from the title) Come on Wygant, get back on the horse, take some chances, and talk to risky, desirable, quick payoff, targets with a high beta value! Yes, you will have more rejections, but the payoff is much guicker, and of more value, especially in a vacation situation, where results are needed immediatley! If you don't take the big chances, you have to jump through too many hoops, and waste too much time, as this video proves. Nice chit chat, with no chance of any effective result. That's all that was.
