What does love mean to you?
Does love have an outcome?
Does love have limitations?
Is love conditional?
The answer to all of the above is no.
Love doesn’t have an outcome, it’s not conditional, it doesn’t have expectations.
To truly love somebody is to truly give to somebody and expect nothing in return.
That’s right: nothing in return.
Take someone on a trip.
Buy them a present.
Rub their back.
Do anything nice for someone you love and do it from the bottom of your heart without expecting anything back.
People have love all wrong.
A child loves unconditionally.
But adults tend to love very conditionally. That’s what adults love to do. Everything is conditional.
I’ll rub your back if you rub mine.
I’ll drive you to the airport if you give me your Laker tickets.
That’s not love, because love has no conditions, no boundaries. In order to truly find and experience love, you need to love every single person fully.
Love every person that comes into your life with an open heart.
And expect nothing back.
Love is unconditional; love is an act that does not have an asterisk next to it; love is something that you need to experience every single day with yourself.
If you haven’t experienced self-love today, you’re not going to be able to give love to anybody else.
I give love to everybody that I meet. I don’t expect anything back. It’s the way to live a life that’s free, clear, and amazing.
And when you love other people, you’re going to get the love back, not necessarily from that person, but from lots of other people. And then you’re also going to attract love in your life.
How come when you’re full of love you attract amazing people into your life? How come when you’re doing things conditionally, whether on a conscious or subconscious level, you always seem to attract conflict in your life?
The reason being is that most of us do not know how to freely give love, because we’ve been conditioned to ration love.
We give little bits and pieces to see whether or not somebody gives little bits and pieces back. But imagine being able to just love freely, to love with an open heart and expect nothing back at all.
What do you think you would get?
You would get tons of love. You’d get so much love you wouldn’t know what to do with it.
And I don’t know about you, but that sounds good to me.
