There are many times in our lives when we need an expert’s opinion.

I truly believe in the magic of the best four letter word in the English dictionary.

And that word is help.

Help.

Help.

A strong, successful person will always know when they’re in over their heads and when they need the help of an expert.

I feel blessed to be that expert for a lot of you when it comes down to your dating, relationships and just plain old everyday social and communication issues.

I feel blessed to be able to have guided many of you down an incredible road to self enlightenment and self awareness.

Because of being able to do that, I have definitely been able to really help you connect to your inner truth.

You know when you come and you work with me as a coach, I’m going to be very blunt, honest and to the point.

I’m not going to sugar coat things.

But most importantly, I’m not going to make you find the answer, I’m going to give you an answer based on years — almost 20 — of coaching and working with people.

I’m going to tell you what you’re up against, what you’re dealing with, and I’m going to give you a game plan so you can successfully move forward in your life.

But it doesn’t work that way with so many other people.

Recently, a friend of mine’s been going through a divorce.

She’s gone to five different attorney’s, literally hired and fired four of them before she finally found the one that actually took control of the situation.

Her expertise made my friend feel great.

She hammered out an agreement where all other failed.

She was able to get what was rightfully hers within the law

And did not play any games and took great care of my friend.

I asked her what the issue was with the other attorneys she was seeing.

And she said the other attorney’s would get into endless conversations and endless e-mails about what she wanted.

She would write them back and say, it’s not what I want, I want what is legally mine.

I want to work within the realm of what is legally right and fair for both of us and I want you to make it happen.

The other attorneys would go back and forth and give all these different options.

And she kept going back and forth saying, no, I just want to be fair and work within the realm of the a little while to get this done.

And this is where she got really pissed off, for all the attorneys that she went to, she realized that a lot of them really did not fit or match her personality.

Some of them just wanted to get back and forth an endless e-mail chains and phone calls because they could bill her for $500 an hour she was paying. Other ones were just too afraid and too weak to really go after what she deserved within the law.

Other ones just didn’t fit her.

And that’s what I have an issue with today. In today’s modern society, anybody can be an expert.

It feels like there’s a guru on every street corner waiting to give advice.

But the thing is, in order to be great at what you do, you need to be able to read every single situation.

The attorneys my friend went to that did not work were not understanding of the character issues of her ex-husband, the lies that he manifested.

The ways he conducted himself.

The attorneys that she talked to didn’t understand how to physiologically get to him so they were able to go and get through agreement.

And that’s where experts come in. Experts come in because they understand things. They’re parenting experts, relationship experts, legal experts, and the legal experts have many different things that they deal with. There are real estate experts, real estate agents that are good, and then real estate agents that are absolutely terrible. They can’t get the price of the house that you want, they don’t know how to market the house.

When we need help in something, we’re basically looking for somebody who knows what they’re doing so we’re able to move forward and not have to try to work something out and think about it on our own anymore.

And that’s the big problem with so many of these so-called experts. In today’s guru, expert world, so many of them don’t really know and understand how to deal with all facets of what is really going on.

A true expert in their field will understand ALL personality types.

They’ll understand every aspect of the business, whether it’s a lawyer, it’s a real estate agent, to a dating and relationship coach.

They would have dealt with people from all walks of life. They would have seen all situations and they would know exactly how to guide somebody through the process of what ever they need help for.

The minute somebody asks you what you want to do, and you’re the one who went to the expert in the first place, you’ve gone to the wrong expert. It’s not what somebody wants to do, it’s what’s allowed to be done. It’s honestly, within the realm of integrity and everything else, what should be done.

We seek out experts so we can make the most amount of money, get the most amount of legal help in our lives, get the right house in our lives. So, if you are with somebody who doesn’t know their business, doesn’t understand the psychology of everything about their business, then you’re with the wrong expert.

And the great thing about today’s guru/expert culture, is that there is an endless supply of them. One click of the mouse away.
