Today, we’re starting a new format.
I get so many e-mails from all of you, so I decided that I should use them and answer some questions.
I’m going to give you guys what you’ve been wanting.
I might miss talking about the coyotes or the political debates.
But I’ll tell you what: I’m still going to talk about life––life lessons and everything else because it’s important.
But you’re my audience, so I want to get more in touch with all of you.
Today’s question is a doozy.
It’s from Ishmael.
He says:
Hey David,
I see a lot of attractive women when I’m driving my car. They’re either walking in the opposite direction or standing at the bus stop. Should I turn around my vehicle, stop, and go talk to them?
Sure, Ishmael, if you want to freak them out.
Here’s what I feel about this type of mentality and mind set:
Sure you may see a lot of women while you’re driving your car. And sure you may see woman that are next to you in traffic. But in reality, it’s not much you can do.
Now, if I see women I’m attracted to while driving in traffic, I will look at her, wave, and smile. If she waves back, I’ll tell her to roll down her window. Then I’ll start a conversation with her. But I don’t expect to score her phone number. Nor do I really want to.
They’re just a random person. I’d prefer to meet somebody that I can experience face-to-face, get to know them for a minute or two. And to feel what they’re all about, see how they walk, see how they move.
Now, what about the women at the bus stop? I wouldn’t advise driving by a bus stop, doing a U-turn in the middle of traffic, causing an accident, pulling up alongside the bus stop and talking to a woman.
It will freak them out.
See, the male mentality is to hunt down anything it can possibly find––hunt it down, slay it, and bring it home on the top of our roof.
When it comes down to it, you really want to approach women and not scare them. So, start looking around at other places.
Don’t expect to meet people while you’re driving in traffic. You see a woman walking, don’t pull your car alongside of them. As a man, you need to picture what it would feel like if you were a woman. Picture a car driving behind you really slow. Then all of a sudden pulling along side you, rolling down it’s window and start talking to you.
How would you feel as a woman? You’d probably feel nervous, scared.
Women watch. Women see things. Women feel. So, you don’t want to scare them at all. Find another place where you have an opportunity to connect and build trust––your chances will be much higher then.
