I am at times really scared of changes but like you said its part of life so we have to find ways to better deal with it.

the more i think about it some reason i keep on coming up with more excuses and i think my main problem is that i don't take enough action. i studied the mastery series several times and it helped me a lot but i think i am stuck at the level of not wanting to go out.

Hey! I used to be this person that lived in a boxed world. I didn't open my myself up to different things in life. And was set in 'my ways'. I then started to realize that I was punishing myself by the way I lived. I woke up one day and made that change. Got out of that box...and started thinking outside of the bun...ha...ha...ha. It is easy to make excuses to stay in your comfort zone. But if you never get out of your comfort zone you will never change. I have came a long way with approach anxiety and after you break your comfort zone, the feeling of accomplishment is amazing!!! I actually have a tattoo of freddy krueger on my arm to remind me to face my fears!!!

I often found myself being too serious around people. When it came to women I did not have that confidence to tease and bust on them in a way that created attraction, because of my own internal fears. I've been doing some work and the solution to my problem was being more playfull and not caring so much what others think. Again, not trying too hard to be playfull, but just do my thing and go with the flow. For the people who tell themselves they are shy and can't approach people...I was there, I know how that feels. But the only cure for your shyness is approaching people and start talking. If you don't know what to talk about, just observe. You might be walking down the street in a cold snowy day, you strike up a conversation with the person next to you about how cold the weather is, and then you listen to them. If you so happen to be near a local starbucks, invite them to join you for a cup of tea. Most of the time the solution to our excuses lies within our excuses. Too Serious?...become more playfull Too Shy?.......become more assertive and approach people. Caring too much about what others think of your actions?....Become indifferent and don't give a DAMN!! WE are the main moviestars in OUR lives.

Hmmm as you say, David, everything in life is about change. And many times, it's for the better. When things change and you might at first be afraid or dislike them, you'll soon notice that there is something even better beyond. You just have to embrace it. Just like a friend of mine, she's a yoga instructor. A brilliant one, in my opinion. She got fired from the health club she was working in for several years, and thought, shit, i gotta look for a new club. But then she embraced the momentum that was coming with the change and founded her own yoga training studio. This was a year ago, and now she operates her own studio with 6 instructors, wildly successful. Sometimes we need that powerful momentum that comes with change. It's like a wave. We can get swept away and maybe drown, or we might ride it and it will take us to new adventures ;-) enjoy your day!

Hey David, I feel that change is always good. It all depends on how you perceive it. The way i look at it is that i evolve into a better man. I have question. I have a date in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i should take her out to a movie or a dinner. Also, I always get nervous if i should escalate physically early, or what to talk about.

For me change has been hard and slow. Jacob; khiem; and david have helped me through this journey. Even though I'm young, I am always too hard on myself. I always look at my loses and not embrace everyday's wins. I have been focusing soo much on getting a girlfriend that I have forgotten about the people I love; family. I got caught up with a girl recently and she is now back with her ex. For some reason I feel liberated; free. Like if I know I gave my best and I found the truth of both of us. It was not our time; even though she was hot, I know I can attract even better women to my life. I just got to change. My days and nights have been hard because I MAKE them hard on myself. I have not been able to let myself go completely; and what hurts me the most is that I dont know why I can't let go!! Why I can't approach or just start up a conversation with someone. Its best dating season and I've gotten 0 girls or numbers. I am going to change that, I have the confidence and I am going to have the life I deserve and want! Mario
