About David
1.7 million men & women come to me every month to find the secrets to success. And after 20 years of coaching, I’ve discovered the golden keys to success in dating, business, health and wellness, and life.
I’ve helped millions of men and women around the globe achieve success in their dating, social and personal lives. I’m also a father to the world’s cutest little girl, and I am an unapologetic man. Some say I’m nuts, others say I’ve changed their life forever. One thing’s for certain: I’ll always give you the truth, whether you can handle it or not. I never sugar coat anything.
Nice is so overrated. I’d prefer brutally honest breakthrough to a “nice” rut any damn day of the week. If you’re the same way, then you've come to the right place.
First time for me watching this one and so true re the alpha male and creating interest in himself by taking charge and sharing especially with a variety of senses - in this case auditory, visual, smelling and perhaps touching of the candle.
The fact that the shorter lady was giggling, stepping back (which initially as a woman I read that she thought the guy was interested in her friend) then in again shows she may be interested.
Cathy, I read it as her being a little bit nervous and liking the guy, but assuming that he was interested in her friend. So not just that she though that he was interested in her, but subconsciously giving her approval and submitting to her friend's higher status. Am I off base with that?
Not at all Collin.
My reading was that the taller girl on the left was the 'cooler' one while the one who stepped back seems to have an inferiority complex subconsciously thinking that the guy must be interested in her friend. By stepping out of the way she is clearing the way for the other two because she didn't feel she had a chance.
The guy continuing to be friendly and smiling at both does offer her hope :) thus her stepping back in.
Just as men have the conversation in their head - I bet she did too. "He seems really nice. He's probably just interested in my friend. Oh, he is smiling at both of us... maybe, just maybe (giggle...)"
In turn, I'm sure the taller girl (who I assume he really was interested in), thought higher of him based off the fact that her friend liked him. Even if it doesn't go anywhere, he made the two of them feel better about their day. I always try to engage the friends, because I can't imagine what it would be like to have a friend who all the guys came over to talk to, but hardly ever so much as smiled at me.
Guys too. You gotta talk to the guys. I only have one close female friend, and when I'm out with her, no guy is getting my approval without a firm handshake, a confident greeting, and eye contact. Guys who muscle their way in and ignore me get "the secret glance" just as fast as super nice guys who can't shake a hand or make eye contact to save their lives.
You gotta bring everybody into the conversation and make everybody feel better after having met you. When I figured that out, my success with groups skyrocketed.
Even if they are recycled videos, it's great to see everyone's analysis and commentary. Props to the short girl for not c-blocking Josh! Josh could have "rewarded" the short one by saying "great choice in shoes" as they were both wearing black chuck taylor shoes.
Keep the videos and commentary coming!
Is this an example of just practicing conversing with women, in general, with no outcome in mind? I don't think he was really interested in either of the nice women, from what I could see, as he just walks away after his brief conversation. I also have no problem approaching average looking women, such as these, over beautiful women. Average women do not get approached, especially by handsome men, like beautiful women, so are always much easier to engage. I do the same thing, as much as possible, by approaching and just being friendly to everyone, to overcome my anxiousness, so when I finally do see a woman that really interests me, I can meet her.
In this instance, all they're doing is talking. In general, women will talk to you and you could have conversations with them all day long. But, is that really "attracting" them?
David, every time I see one of these videos I have the same question. Are you standing there doing live narration, or did you add that after you shot the video? Sounds like the audio is live...yet they don't notice or hear you doing your blow by blow commentary.
