There is a great book written years ago by Dr. John Gray called Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
The book was one of the first books I read on relationships and the differences between the sexes.
We’re different in many ways, yet we all want the same thing. We just go about it differently.
Men suffer from a disease called approach anxiety.
Women wonder why men don’t approach.
Men fear talking to a woman. They think in their brain, over and over again, that they need to come up with something so spectacular in order to have just a simple conversation with a woman.
Women, when they go out with a guy, speculate non-stop about what went wrong. They need an answer to just about everything.
Where men will stop dating a woman and just let it go, and not even think about why he’s no longer with her.
The list goes on and on. We’re so different, the way we react to things, the way we do things. It’s amazing we can even get together in the first place.
That’s the beauty of it. We’re so different, and that’s what makes us need a really crave one another. It’s that yin yang thing that we need for balance for life.
I haven’t had even a sniff of a relationship in so many years. Would I consider myself out of bounds?
I would consider myself on a journey of figuring out exactly what I need, want and desire in my next relationship.
I know women are a beautiful, amazing group, race, whatever you want to call them. But to me, relationships are about figuring yourself out first. You see, we’re not so different once we figure ourselves out.
Once you figure out who you are and what you’re looking for and get a more loving balance in yourself, you won’t get so caught up in what the other sex is thinking and feeling.
When you are self-possessed and have self-love, you will appreciate the differences between men and women.
We tend to get affected and anxious by what the opposite sex does and says, because we’re not secure enough in ourselves.
Check out today’s video for more differences between the way men and women think – and what they really mean.
