Why Tinder Dating And High Heels Don’t Mix
Why does dating seem so hard? How are you supposed to meet and flirt with men? Watch my FREE video, “How to Speak Man” to STOP speculating and START winning his heart!
Have any of you played on Tinder?
You’ve heard me say it before, but Tinder dating really amuses me. Swipe left, swipe right, swipe left again. You only have a picture and a minimal profile to look at and make a decision about whether you want to date them. It’s funny to read the little profiles and see how many women let their high heels get in the way of love.
What am I talking about?
Here’s an example of a profile I read last night. It said…
“I’m 5’9 and 6’0 in heels!”
She has to tell the world she’s 6’0 in heels? Who cares?
She goes on to say, “I love laughter, spontaneity, adventures, traveling, and all the good things in life. I’m also a hopeless romantic.”
So why are her heels limiting the number of love opportunities in her life?
Some women are so attached to their heels that most guys, including myself, instantly get turned off. We could care less about your high heels. To be honest I much prefer a woman in flats, or a pair of boots with a tiny half-inch heel.
I can’t stand seeing women stumbling around like they’re walking in stilts, and being taller for no reason at all. I like you exactly the way you are. There’s no reason to try and elevate yourself into the sky to feel better about yourself. Especially when the shoes most the time hurt your feet. Why would anyone wear shoes that hurt that much you have to put your feet in cold water at the end of a night out?
I just don’t get it. The other problem is that any man below 6’0 is going to read between the lines and think, “This woman isn’t going to want to meet me because I’m shorter than her. She’ll probably only want to meet taller men.”
You have to look at your shoe collection of yours, and ask yourself, are your shoes and your desire to be taller preventing you from meeting great men?
Why High Heels Turn Some Men Off
Why do you need to worry about writing how tall you are in heels in your Tinder profile? It’s the same when you write you’re 45 years old but you only look 35 years old. It doesn’t matter. Stop trying to enhance what you have. Either men will be attracted to the way you are naturally, or they won’t. It’s like a man saying, “My penis is 6 inches but in a dim light it looks nearer 8 inches.”
I know it sounds crazy, but your heels are preventing you from finding love. The fact of the matter is this…
The average height of men in America is 5’9, maybe 5’10 in Chuck Taylors. That means at 6’0 in heels you’re going to tower over most men. You’re limiting the pool of men you can choose from, because like it or not, many men are afraid of dating women taller than them. So for those of you still looking for the tall guy, who can match you for height in your heels, don’t forget there are tons of guys of around 5’9 who’d be more than happy to fall in love with you, if you’d only fall out of love with your heels!
