Breaking Up Over Text Today I have a real treat for you guys.

I’d been reading about how common it is nowadays for people to break up with each other by text message. I couldn’t believe what I was reading, and how much disrespect people show each other nowadays.

Why do people break up by text?

I was having one of my late night chats with a great friend of mind Larry, and we were talking about how in today’s society people see relationships as disposable. Larry told me something so interesting and eye opening, I immediately started recording our conversation for a podcast.

This is a response to the recording David and Larry are right, if something happens in your relationship with your partner, you both got to talk about it and be open. A real relationship works through tension, a real relationship it is build on trust, honesty, dedication, compassion, love and above all a respect for life. Yes it is hard to trust a person with your heart but you will never know if you will be happy with that person unless you take that leap, I do think the part we entrust to our partners is our inner child. Can you remember when you were a child, when you didn't have a worry in the world? this is the part we give and this is the reason why it is so hard to invest emotionally and intimately because this it is this good part of you that you have protected for so long and the very thought of a person betraying your trust with such a delicate part of your being is a nightmare. It was very hard for me to make myself completely open to others but I learned in the end, we are all human...are celebrities better then you because they are rich or famous? no they are human to, just like you. And yes life is a learning experience, tonight I learned a lot from David and Larry because I have no ego and im not afraid to admit when I need help or advice. To David and Larry, you guys are on the right path, I listened to your recording and agree, people take comfort in the status quo and they need to let go of the broken record and while there at it let go of the ego and pride because if they don't, they will keep beating themselves of when something goes wrong in there lifes. As always hoped this helped

People really do treat each other as disposable. I've never understood the lack of feeling in so many people. I wonder if it's always been like this and i'm just naive as fuck. I had a class last semester where relationships was a topic and half the women said their boyfriends get mad that they have "no feelings" and they are "more like men". ...Really? So a man is a feelingless blob now? At the same time that group was defending men saying their girlfriends were attracted to douchebags. I am confused. People like to use the phrase "are men really men anymore" and fuck if I know.. but are women really women any more? You should see how my sister picks guys to go out with on OKcupid. and she wonders why she can't find a good guy. ....because youre not looking for one!!
