Imagine being George Clooney…
I want you to imagine what your life would be like.
Hanging out with Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and all the other A-listers. Having your buddies over at your house in the Hollywood Hills, shooting basketball on your full-size basketball court, and dating the hottest women in the world.
George Clooney, the man. A very cool man when it comes down to it. He’s a cool guy. He’s someone every guy would love to be friends with. He’s a great friend too. He’ll fly all his friends on a private jet to take them away.
But here’s the thing…
George Clooney and love just don’t seem to mix very well!
George got married very young, and he openly admits in his in his interviews he will never ever get married again. Good for him! But then it’s funny; when he’s in a relationship which breaks down these dumb tabloid writers instantly claim: “He’s an older guy with a younger woman and she’s just got sick of him.”
Really? This is George Freaking Clooney.
He goes out with women for a period of time, say a year to a year and a half, and then the relationship ends. And when he’s asked about it in interviews after he’s cool, he’s calm, and he’s appreciative. He doesn’t say anything negative about the woman, and talks about his own personal growth.
The man can do whatever he wants to do. If you were George Clooney what would you do? Would you be a long-term relationship guy or would you just date the hottest women you could until they got on your nerves?
Let’s face it, some of us are not meant to be in relationships.
Some of us are not meant to be in long-term relationships, and maybe that’s just all George Clooney is, a non-long-term relationship kind of guy. There’s nothing wrong with it. There’s no speculation here. There’s no “the younger woman got sick of the older man.”
How many women in the world can you imagine getting sick of George Clooney?
To me it’s really simple. It seems like Clooney has a shelf life on all of his woman and it lasts anywhere from six months to a year and a half and then he goes onto the next one. You’ll even talk about it in interviews. He admits that’s who he is, and that’s why I respect George Clooney.
He doesn’t pretend he’s something he’s not. He doesn’t pretend he wants to be married and have kids. He knows who he is and that’s what’s interesting about him. Now the question I’m going to throw back at all of you is: Do you really know who you really are?
Do you know what you want?
Do you know what type of relationship you want? Do you know how long you want the relationship to last? Are you looking for a life partner? Do you understand what you want in a woman?
I respect a man like Clooney because he knows who he is. So it’s time you got to know yourself. It’s time you wrote down what you want from a relationship. Do you want to bounce from one woman to the next?
Do you want a long-term relationship? Do you want marriage? Do you want kids? When you’re on a date, and she says to you: “What’s your five-year plan?” Would you know how to answer her? Do you know how you want to be loved?
These are all things you need to think about today. Learn from Mr. Clooney.
