Have you watched the show Mad Men?
Some people feel like it’s like watching grass grow.
Other people think it’s just dynamic because of the way things used to be, the simplicity.
Other people love the set design, the way Madison Avenue’s depicted, the smoking, the drinking.
I remember all that because I grew up in a very Madison Avenue suburban town. So I know all about what it’s like to be a product of the Mad Men type of lifestyle.
When I grew up, my grandmother’s house looked like the set of Mad Men.
My living room had a floral couch that looked like a Mad Men set as well.
What Mad Men teaches you is the simplicity of the way things really are.
In today’s complicated, Facebook, Twitter, narcissistic world that we live in, we tend to make things overcomplicated.
Back in the day, a man went to work and brought home the money; a woman stayed home and cooked the bacon.
In reality, things have not changed that much.
Now don’t get your panties in a knot right now and get all upset that David Wygant is some sexist—I’m not. But I truly believe that men and women have certain roles that need to be played out.
And to play it out means this:
Figure out how your man likes to be nurtured and do those things for him, and your man will always come home at the at the end of the day.
Regardless of whether or not you’re a career woman and out-earn your man, a man needs to be nurtured in certain ways.
Some men love a home-cooked mail. Me personally, I could give a crap about a home-cooked meal. I’d rather go to my favorite restaurant.
But there are things that I like my woman to be. I like my woman to be very nurturing and loving and very supportive. To me there’s certain ways that she can do that.
If you’re going to be a good woman to a man, you need to know the role you need to play in that type of man’s life based on the personality that you are.
The thing about Mad Men is that men were honored and felt powerful.
In today’s modern world, not enough women make men honored or feel powerful when it comes down to relationships. Too many women like to castrate a guy and have complete control because women have taken on that role in their own lives. They feel like they’ve needed to do that to survive in a man’s world.
You may need to be able to survive in a man’s world on a daily basis, but when you’re in the bedroom, when you’re in a relationship, you still need to be that beautiful feminine woman.
So figure out the feminine side of you and honor your man. Learn exactly how to really cultivate a relationship with a man.
A man is looking for a tender woman; a man is looking for a nurturer; a man is looking for a woman to be a woman—we’re not looking for a woman who has a dick.
So figure out how to tap into that inner femininity again and bring it out and watch the way the men flock to you.
Figure out his love language, of how he wants to be touched, held, honored as a man. Once you’ve got that, you’ll have him happy forever and ever.
Men are a very simple creature—that’s why we’re always depicted as cave men.
That’s why we watch simple things like sports.
And that’s why the majority of men, when they communicate with each other, communicated like cave men.
It always involves a bunch of buffalo wings, some beers, and short conversations based on simplicity things.
We are wired very differently. Understand our wiring and you’ll understand exactly how to keep us happy.
