We’re all searching for it: the perfect relationship.
What is the perfect relationship?
In all honesty, there is no perfect relationship, but there are spectacular, amazing, powerful relationships that we all can be having.
So then how do you have that spectacular, amazing relationship?
You find a man whose shit you can deal with.
That’s right: find a man whose shit does not bother you.
See, we all have shit: past disappointments, unrequited emotions, whatever it might be, we come with problems and issues.
So you need to find somebody who doesn’t trigger your problems and issues.
I know when I’m with a great woman. Her problems and issues are things I can deal with and actually help her grow.
And I know when I’m with a woman whose problems and issues drive me nuts, I’m with the wrong person.
You need to find a man whose shit you can deal with, because if you can deal with his shit, you’re going to support one another and grow together, and that’s what a relationship is all about. A spectacular, amazing, dynamic relationship is when two people fall in love and help each other become the best version of themselves.
That’s what it’s all about.
It’s about not trying to change anybody; it’s allowing them to make the changes on their own because they already wanted to do that. You are just somebody who understands how to make those changes with them, and that’s how you grow in a relationship.
So the next man you’re with, pay attention to his crap and see how you feel about it. Keep in mind that the only way anybody will ever change is because they already want to make those changes and you’re just a facilitator.
Be that. Be a facilitator of change; be a rock for support.
These are tips to making a relationship spectacular.
