Ok, I need to get out of my head. I'm getting out of the truck now. Ok.. there's a hill. There's some dirt. There's a dirty, stinky truck driver walking past. There's some rocks. Ok, I'm going to say hi to the first woman that walks by... waiting... waiting....... hmmm...... :(

Very good blog. Most, I would say 99%, of the things that happen in your head, never happen in reality. I totally agree with David, the best thing you can do is ground yourself, and you ground yourself by connecting with the real world, which is any sort of physical activity, talking to other people, even cleaning up the house.

I wish I could get out of my head today. I took out an old hookup last night and we had an absolutely awesome conversation... She's a massive mess though. I went out with her knowing she needed to vent to me and I wasn't planning on any hookup or anything. It was a massive connection that I haven't felt in fucking forever and today I am so fucking sad I can't see straight. She even told me she loved me at the end and couldn't stop hugging me. We talked about a possible relationship a little bit but I'm not stupid enough to try to push her knowing what she's going through and we just left it open... Just left her with a not so subtle hint that I really like her. 2-3 years ago she even asked to be my girlfriend and I blew her off. It's breaking my heart. Not even just because it's a connection with such a smart/sexy as hell yet fucked up girl.. but thinking maybe I can only connect to really fucked up people. I mean last night I left her feeling great... and now I feel like death. I also really want to hook up with her but I know I can't/shouldn't. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just too sensitive to deal with life like a regular person.

I've been seeing this amazing girl for the past few months. We're not officially dating, but if you had to put a title on it we're "together." We're not seeing anyone else. We've had sex before. She says she doesn't want me to take it too fast from moving from where we are now, to officially dating. What can I do to express my feelings for her more so? What can I do to make her realize that regardless everything is going to be okay?
