Recently my friend Donovan from seduction chronicles sat down with me over skype and asked those exact questions.
I really enjoyed the interview and thought that i would share it with all of you.
So who is David Wygant and how did this all start. For those of you who don’t know my story click here.

About David
1.7 million men & women come to me every month to find the secrets to success. And after 20 years of coaching, I’ve discovered the golden keys to success in dating, business, health and wellness, and life.
I’ve helped millions of men and women around the globe achieve success in their dating, social and personal lives. I’m also a father to the world’s cutest little girl, and I am an unapologetic man. Some say I’m nuts, others say I’ve changed their life forever. One thing’s for certain: I’ll always give you the truth, whether you can handle it or not. I never sugar coat anything.
Nice is so overrated. I’d prefer brutally honest breakthrough to a “nice” rut any damn day of the week. If you’re the same way, then you've come to the right place.
Hi David- Since today isn't a particular topic, I'd like to put out a question / comment. You have a lot of blogs and info about meeting people, and you also blog about sex and relationships. I'd like to talk more about what comes IN BETWEEN those things- making a good impression on the first date, following up on the first date, and turning those first meetings into 2nd and 3rd dates as often as possible. I realize this is probably one of the harder things to address without actually being there, but it's something I'm trying to focus on these days. Is the answer just as simple as- do more of what you did on the initial pickup, and if it doesn't work out beyond the first date then it just wasn't meant to be? I think that might be part of it, but maybe there's even more to it. Thought?
DAVID;
Very good interview and to top it off, you are now a "chosen one" ;) Do you think you will consider writing a column there?
In your experience with coaching both women and men, which of the sexes do you find more comfortable approaching the opposite...Women approching men or men approaching women?
LOL You didn't know I was going to interview you're interview...I just had an "innerview" of sorts and that question came to my mind as an "I wonder if......" interrogation.
Sam;
Never view a woman as an 'unnatainable hot girl.'
Her stuff stinks too, and if she has the attitude that she ia better than you or anyone else...she isn't worth the powder it would take to blow your brains out.
High and haughty is no match for cute and naughty...LOL :P ;)
Joan
or sweet and sassy! :) I know not to put them on a pedestal, I was just highlighting the instinctual failure most men (myself included) tend to succumb to. When you first see a gorgeous girl walking down the street its natural to feel intimidated or inadequate. Thats where David's message steps in and says, "back up there sunshine, you ARE good enough for her".
Sam;
Thats right...you ARE good enough for her...maybe even TOO good if she is a conceited self centered person.
You know, in high school I was highly intimidated by the jocks and the pretty girls.
What I am about to say will go to prove how the smallest words of kindness from someone, especially a someone you feel inferior to can stay with you, just as negative words stay as well.
I was in high school, and very thankful when a cloud burst broke way and we had to run inside soaking wet. NO SHOWERS! Yes...I was so so self concious of the fact my breasts were very large compared to everyone elses. Now?? Hey I love my boobs..LOL ;)
Anyway, I had one of the prettiest most popular girls tell me she wished she had my eyes, that I had the most beautiful eyes. I remember crying a few silent tears to that to this day...I am 46.
As I got older and started working in a gym full of "beautiful people," I realized the words my grandmother told me are really true. Beauty is only skin deep. There are men and women alike who from a distance seem intinidating, but if you can see the fact that they are just people like you and me.....WTH?
I to this day will talk to the best to the worst looking guy in a place, because people are people. Some you love, some you like, some you tolerate and some...you kick to the nearest curb! LOL
I would hope that everybody before life has passed them by, and millions of lost chances escape, would come to that reality. You and you and you and him and her and I??? We every one of us has something unique to share....we just have to be open to listening and sharing...Simple :P
Nice story Joan, and you are right. Everyone should learn to realise this. Not the usual standpoint of girls complaining about their breasts, ie; being too big! Hey, no complaints from me... :p
Sam;
LOL Yea well you know,when it is time for showers in high school, I think self consciousness is a given when your body parts are mountains compared to molehills...LOL
NOW, well I am envied by my small breasted friends and well, yea I love having the DD twins to keep me company on cold nights..like tonight for instance lol.
Sam;
I am just being me...and I don't think I am a tease but I do see myself as very open;very playful...on and off the blog community.
LOLL I just caught the tail end of your fire on the mountains comment...ummmmmmm no comment :P
I am just damn proud of my breasteses..what can I say..or not say? LOL
I best just say no more right? Riiiiiight. :)
Seduction Chronicles:
Yes, I hope so as well. It would be interesting reading and a hell of a lot better than some of the pics I saw on the list there.
Oh lol I am sorry I think I just realized that you may have been the judge of the pics. I just know I have read a few of their "tactics" and would venture to say you'd be getting realism and an honest approach as opposed to some magic tricks and watching rocky pull a rabbit out of his hat. ;)
Damn, did I just age myself with the "Bullwinkle" cartoon phrase where Bullwinkle tells Rocky, "Hey Rocky, you want to see me pull a rabbit out of my hat?" Ahhhhhh I think it is time to go to bed now...TOO much giggleing on this side of the hemisphere. LOL
Hey now Joan....I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle so much so that I bought the DVDs....I wanted so much to be Natasha when I grew up, but I look positively anemic with black hair.
Bertie;
LOL I was a bullwinkle fan myself....I didn't know they had a DVD collection. I remember my younger sister wanting to be Poindexter (spelling??)
Yea I pretty much resemble El Vira mistress of darkness in black hair..just with blue eyes.
Dave
Dating is all about one and done......chemistry takes a long time to really find with someone.
and for me to give you some great feedback i wold need much more information about the dates.
do you ask them out at the end of the first date if you like them?
Joan,
I would say that men are more comfortable approaching women than vice-versa. This is simply because we do it a lot more often, and the more often you do something--anything--the more comfortable you become doing it.
Sam,
You've got some good ideas here about the mindset required to approach the really hot ones. But beyond that, consider why you would want to approach a HB 9 or 10. They tend to be spoiled, high maintenance, golddigers, or some combination thereof. Plus they tend to be prone to drama fests. This is all because of the good genetics that fate handed them; that prcisely because society puts them on a pedestal and all but waits on them hand and foot, they never have had anyone say no to them or have had to live by their wits the way the rest of us have.
I think it is much more advantageous to look for the 7s and 8s as your chances of success and finding someone with a personality and some character, which I consider impotant traits, are better.
Bertie;
Ahhhhh haaa yes...Mr. Peebody...lol
Woh the heck is poindexter?? Is he on Charlie Brown?
Remember Mr. McGoo..the luckiest blind man to never live?? LOL Falling off cliffs just in time for a truck or something to transfer him to a beam 2 inches wide to walk on until the next obstacle...LOL Damn and I actually sat and watched this crap?....LOL
I didn't see much of Mr McGoo....I was probably all about the Girl Power way back in the day....I loved the Fractured Fairy Tales....You ever read the book....Hella Fun. And the chicks are more like Ariel the first Disney chick to take control of her own destiny! I loved the Lil Merlaid...
no yall, not a typo, that's what Veronica Leigh called it....Mommy, mommy can we watch the Lil Merlaid, and One cat two dogs? (The Incredible Journey)
David-
It was interesting to see some of the comments responding to you on the Seduction Chronicles website--obviously a different community. It kills me to see these guys so hung up on the dogma of the pickup scene, with the investment in a formulaic system, framing discussions in terms of statistics as if they were discussing financial transactions, rather than meeting actual people.
Anyway, I couldn't leave the site without saying something, and I hope they check you out.
Bob
THe guys who do not get this are very robotic!!!
They cant understand how simple this really is they need to think that there has to be some type of science to this.
They need to be real and that is what is so hard for them to realize.
I am so not about teaching robots walking around.
Dunga
Very true, but not all 10s are that way. Occassionally you stumble across the girl that had braces and freckles in high school but has now blossomed into a mega babe (that is a technical term). So her personality was not influenced by the 'give me everything now' syndrome...
Actually, I should correct myself just for the record, I find freckles sexy :)
Yacutie;
I thought i might have been in the doghouse for tagging your name...I did it with the most honest endearing intentions. I do think you are a cutie, and a very kind hearted sexy little shit...if I may...even if I may not...deed is done ;)
Well, I don't know where I pulled that line out from, but I am sure it was still smoldering from previous thought or action..LOL. Glad to be amuse to yous... :P Well it is 3 AM ya can't expect much from the brain at that time, but the body?? Hmmmm thats a whole new ball game...so to speak.. :)
Sam,
Concur that there are no hard and fast rules in this universe except death and taxes. There are always exceptions. But I prefer to play the odds that are in my favor. I'd rather bang a 7 or 8 than whiff on a 9 or 10 any day of the week. Is it worth the effort to score a 9 or a 10? Maybe if you get lucky within the first few tries. Otherwise, it isn't.
Dunga,
I don't get it. Why?
I have met a few pretty girls who were spoiled to Mt. Everest so to speak, but it bothered me, I noticed it soon, and it quite naturally kept me away from them from then on.
Why would you play odds when we're talking people? People are odd :P
I perceive people as great people unless they prove otherwise. If a woman is stunningly beautiful to me, I'll meet her (if I dare, I must admit). Then if she's awful, 'have a great life and try some Turkish pizza'. If she's pleasant, super.
You sure you just wanna ignore the girls who look best to you?
Come on man, you'll notice if she's spoiled. Besides, you're discriminating :P
