The Twelve Days of Peoplemas
By David Wygant
Ok, here it comes . . .
On the first day of Peoplemas my self-love gave to me
one trip to the mall, walking around the mall,
talking to women in stores, getting in conversations,
getting the guts to talk to them,
and one golden phone number
On the second day of Peoplemas my self-love gave to me
One Santa Claus, one mistletoe,
and I went around with my props of a hat on my head and the misletoe,
and told the most attractive women “Give Santa a kiss.”
On the third day of Peoplemas my self-love gave to me
three opening lines,
first opening line when I see a woman shopping for sweaters “Do you need some help?”
second opening line “Is that sweater for your Dad?”
third opening line “I hope you are not buying that for your boyfriend cause I wouldn’t wear it.”
On the fourth day of Peoplmas my self-love gave to me
four great online openers
first subject line “Were you naughty or nice this year?”
second great opener “If I was Santa, what you want me to get you for Christmas?”
third great opener “If I had some mistletoe what would you do?”
fourth great opener “Let’s pick out our tree . . .”
(When dating online during the holiday season, why not change up your openers to be more holiday themed?)
I think you all get the idea as to where I’m going with this. I’m sick of singing this out loud . . . though it is a catchy tune.
The holiday time is the most vulnerable time of the year for singles, but it is also the easiest time of the year to meet people. As a man, you can venture into any store and ask a woman for help buying any female object. For example, you could be buying a gift for your sister and ask a woman if an item is something she would wear.
Last year a client of mine and I walked into the Beverly Center and went into Victoria’s Secret. I grabbed this tiny little camisole, went directly over to this woman I found attractive, looked into her eyes and said “I need your help with this.”
Then I put the camisole up in front of me and said “Do you think this would look good on my 87 year-old grandmother, because Grandpa’s prescription for Viagra was canceled.” She proceeded to laugh really hard, and we ended up going out that night.
This is the time of the year when you can have fun and score. Women are very vulnerable this time of year. They don’t want to spend the holidays alone, so they will be more open to you approaching them during the holiday season.
Another example of a fun holiday opener, was when my friend and I walked around Santa Monica one day with my dog Daphne who had reindeer horns stuck to her head. My friend had a Santa cap on and I carried 20 pieces of mistletoe. Whenever a woman looked at Daphne, I put a piece of mistletoe over her head and said “Now you have to kiss her.” Every woman stopped, kissed the dog, and some after kissing the dog even sat on Santa’s lap.
The bottom line is this: Women are more open this time of year because this is the time of year they take emotional inventory. Believe me, they know if they’ve been naughty or nice. They also know how many dates they’ve been on this year.
They know that if the number of dates is not good, then they are going to be really open to meeting people because they want to end the year with a bang . . . or maybe even with a bang. So you can really have fun and be different this time of year. You can venture into all sorts of stores and ask women their opinions on different kinds of gifts.
I’ll share one more story with you before I sign off. I was in Nordstrom last year and I saw this woman staring at some earrings. So I walked over to her and I said “You really should get your boyfriend to buy those for you for Christmas. The way you are staring at them, you really need to have them.”
She broke the trance with the earrings, looked at me and said “I don’t have a boyfriend, but I really want these earrings.” So then I said “It’s way too early in our relationship for me to get you these as a gift.” She smiled and laughed, then she handed me her phone number and asked ME what I was doing tonight because she really wanted the earrings before Christmas.
Women are more spontaneous this time of year. They’ll be more open to your advances, and you have a chance to come up with some very clever approaches. The Santa cap scenario in the Beverly Center was still one of my all-time favorites.
Women will also do a sexual inventory this time of year. If it’s been awhile since they’ve had sex, they might be more likely to be up for a quick holiday fling . . . considering that it all starts over again on January 1, 2008. I’m not telling you to take advantage of people’s raw emotions during the holidays, but understanding how women are wired will make these twelve days of peoplemas work for you.
So one last verse before I sign off:
One the twelfth day of Peoplmas my self-love gave to me
all the success from all the approaches that I shared with you in this blog . . .
For those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas, you still have eight days of Hannukah and you can spin the magic draedle that you made out of clay. And for those of you who celebrate neither, you can celebrate Festivus and then the whole month will be about you . . . because Festivus is every day.
Todays video is part 3 of how to use the power of your voice to elevate attraction.
